Hayden earned his degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where he also played college lacrosse. He brings over six years of experience in the Human Capital Management and PEO industry, with a strong background supporting startups and growing small businesses through the real ups and downs that come with building a company.

Driven by a passion for helping business owners succeed, Hayden focuses on delivering practical, relationship driven solutions across HR, payroll, benefits, and risk management. Outside of work, coaching is a major part of who he is. He proudly coaches the Austin High Varsity Lacrosse team, where he enjoys mentoring athletes and helping them develop leadership, discipline, and confidence on and off the field.

A native of Florida, Karlos Funes graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in international business and business management. Karlos spent the last ten years of his career working in Human Capital Management. His passion for consulting businesses and helping them navigate the PEO industry is what led him to join The PEO Link. In his free time, Karlos enjoys getting out on the links and hacking a golf ball around.

A Texas transplant, originally from New Jersey, Erik earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Erik spent over 17 years in the Healthcare industry holding various leadership and executive positions, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of one of the largest ENT physician practices in South Texas. Erik joined The PEO Link in 2022, bringing many years of PEO experience as a client. With his vast business experience, Erik loves helping customers find the best and most cost-effective solutions for their business needs. In his free time, Erik enjoys working out, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and two boys.

A native of San Antonio, Charles Schattenberg graduated from renowned Northside Health Careers High School, and the University of Texas San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business management. Initially a veteran of the banking and finance industry, Charles spent the last ten years working in the PEO industry, eventually serving as Vice-President of the Texas and Oklahoma markets for ADP. Charles joined the PEO Link in 2017, lending his business acumen and experience to the PEO Link team.

Lee Chapman began his career in the PEO industry in 1999 at the age of nineteen years old. A veteran salesman for many corporate payroll services, including Epix Staffing and Unique Staffing, Lee recognized the need for brokerage services. Throughout his employment, Lee understood that no single solution would satisfy every employer. Despite winning several top company sales awards, Lee ultimately realized that as a broker, he could best present his customers with a wide range of options and choices from leading, national PEO firms. A native of San Antonio, Lee enjoys many hobbies and spending time with his wife and three kids!
